The rental was homey and adequate. Arrived Monday and immediately reported broken toilet seat, received a message that maintenance had been scheduled for Tuesday. No show no call. Wednesday about noon I made the same request along with a now chirping smoke alarm and non working tv remote. Repairs made Wednesday afternoon.
We even asked for another nights stay, which Dana accommodated.
All these above points are trivial compared to what came next.... we lost all power in the unit at 3:10 and I reported it to Dana immediately at 3:17 before the office closed.
3:17 PM Dana: "OK thank you let me see if I can find out what's going on. Me: Thanks
4:27 PM Me: what's the diagnosis? Dana: an outage somewhere
7:20 PM Me: So we have been gone for 4 hours and still no power. We need an update or a plan please.
Crickets, crickets, more crickets. Are you kidding me?!?!
I called the office. Office is closed of course. I left a voice mail for Dana, it wasn't pleasant since I was livid at this point. I even had the County Electric service calling me back about it. They were very kind. The security guards and a condo owner helped resolve the issue. There was no "outage somewhere", a blatant lie from Dana. ....and we never heard anything back from Dana, nothing! We will never consider this place again, due to the poor Customer Service.
I find it interesting that Dana has poor reviews on Google but none on the Aqua-Vacations site itself. But we know she has the option to take those down. (I did leave a review there but can't find it) I will also be reporting this to VRBO. The property owners have been apprised as well.
We stayed in LA 2 this past weekend. The house was beautiful and in a great area. We were within walking distance of several good things; however, our overall customer experience was not very pleasing. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels after a day and a half of being there, and they did not have any replacements anywhere in the house. As we started to clean up the last day, we also did not have any trash bags to replace the full one in the trash can. I tried calling the office; no answer. I sent an email to one of the employees; no response. Very unprofessional and unsatisfactory in that area. For the price we paid for the house, we should not have had to provide our own trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. There should have been replacements under the sinks or in the cabinets.
We stayed at Island Tower unit 2301during Thanksgiving week. The view is spectacular! The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Very spacious! Loved the heated indoor pool and quick beach access. Thank you!
Our family stayed at Eastside Cottage F for our February break and it was wonderful!!! The Cottage is everything they say it is. Was within walking distance to the beach and many other things. Sits on a quite street and was great. The Cottage had plenty of room for us and was very clean and well maintained!! Will definetly stay there again!!!
This is definitely a 5 star company, great prices for amazing views and stay. Definitely would choose this over any other company.
