I'd rate this a 4.5 if I could.
The room was great, had two split systems in the one bedroom apartment, and two balconies. It was rather spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was great, though we didn't use it as much as we thought we would. The bed spread would be my only complaint.. It felt like a rug and was very awkward.
The location was fine, we wanted something a bit out of the city when we were booking but found walking to the main strip a little tiring after a few days.. Mind you we did a ton of walking back and forth. The light rail stop was right out the front door which did make commuting up to surfers paradise and down to mermaid beach rather easy.
The permanent residents were also charming. The pool and bbq area offered a great place to stop and chat to some of the long term stay residents and made the whole environment just a little bit more fun than your run of the mill hotel.
We keep going back to the Bel Air because the staff and service is so fantastic, the location is unbeatable, the rooms are clean, functional and tidy and the views are incredible.
I havn’t stayed at the resort but I have to provide 1-Star simply on their (lack of) service...I sent them two emails over the course of as many weeks asking about accomodation and they didn’t respond. I was also considering purchasing a unit in the building...I certainly won’t be now
Close to everything including shuttle buses to Metricon Stadium just across the road(for Richmond v St Kilda semi-final).Go Tigers! The apartment was spacious but the bed
was small and mattress too soft. My husband ended up sleeping on the pull-out sofa
bed which was also too soft. Would stay again but would ask for a larger and more
comfortable bed.
The one bedroom apartment was perfect for the 4 days we needed to be in Broadbeach over Christmas. The quality of the apartment was as expected.
