Drove over the pass in 2001
You could see how much the glacier had receded over the years and from pictures posted at the small cafe up on the road. The drive over the pass will forever be one of my all time experiences, my butt has never been quizzed against a seat so tight! Both my Daughters and my wife claims that their nails prints are for ever in the door handles. I am 67 now, and would love to drive it again.
Amazing views
Rhone glacier is beautiful, one can track around as well as camping! Winter brings complete white outs and changes the scenery which is even more beautiful! One can enjoy skiing and other winter sports. Bring loads of cash though as everything is extremely expensive.
Beautiful place! It's a Glacier grotto, where you can experience the glacier from underground..!! Dream place.
