Really nice place. Pretty quiet but close to everything. Was nice having a full fridge and a stove. Having access to grilles and bikes and umbrellas was a nice plus.
The bed was just ok and the bathroom sink could use replacing. We had some tiny ants in the kitchen. Nothing to keep us from returning here again though. Relaxing few days for sure.
Clean! Awesome Staff! Maintenance Guy puts up umbrellas every morning...he is very nice! Been MG for 17 years--so must be good resort company over-all. Beach towels. Coffee. Beach chairs. Utensils. Plates. Mugs. Wine Glasses. WINE OPENER!! ×D All Provided!!! Updated nicely. Screened in Balcony has crazy gorgeous views. White Powder Sand right out the back. Coming back for sure!!!
We have stayed in many hotels on FMB and this is my new favorite. Room 703 had amazing views! The room was very clean and had everything you would ever need as you were staying at home. Chairs, umbrellas and even bikes were provided. Very friendly staff and great location. Not over crowded on the beach either so that’s a huge plus!
Every moment of our "GET AWAY FROM IT ALL VACATION" from making our reservations with the most helpful sweet woman, to PAM, who ran the front desk and much more assistance who was phenomenal, her easy going personality and knowledge of everything, taking care of all of our needs and questions (where I was given the best places to eat seafood, steak, ice cream, etc., and sightseeing spots, and other suggestions for entertainment); her easy going personality and knowledge of everything, taking care of all of our needs and questions; the impeccable housekeeping service and much more. We were so thrilled to stay there that we even extended our visit by an additional 3 days! Thank you to the Resort Manager, Nathan, who made it possible with the discounts, to allow us to stay the additional days! (I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at Casa Playa Resort to anyone for anytime of the year. We are already planning our next get away there! Great location. We wanted a place that was quiet with a private beach but still in walking distance to Times Square. This was perfect.
If you aren't up for a swim in the gulf they have a nice pool area.
If the beach is your thing, they provide beach chairs, towels and umbrellas to use. It was nice not have to bring your own. The beach is clean and quiet. Great sunset views! There is also an area to grill out.
The resort itself was very clean. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. It has a homey feel since its not a huge resort. Will definitely stay here again!
