Details and quality is hard to come by now a days! Not this gem, the first impression is grand and stylish. There’s a beautiful stone wall that extends from floor to ceiling 30 feet into the air and beautiful blue views of the pool the moment you enter. If you want a hideaway and retreat all in one you need to book this bed and breakfast in Wilton manors. The food is better then great ! Attention to detail and bold flavors by the private chef Giuseppe! His dishes have you patiently waiting for more, and his presentations are works of art! Ricardo is the next best touch of this establishment, his local connections & networking with business owners will have you feel like you have your own private concierge service! I will be returning very soon, and look forward to my private brunch by the pool in the sun. Good things are worth the wait ! Thanks for an amazing experience Casa Hermès
The house is a short walk to all of the restaurants and bars in Wilton manors.
Giuseppe and Ricardo are a delight to stay with. All of the guests felt at home and enjoyed each other’s company. It helps that the house is beautiful and exquisitely decorated. The grounds and pool have enough space that everyone had room to spread out and relax.
I defiantly felt you received an excellent value with all of the special touches they provide to the guests. Gourmet breakfast that varies day by day is just one nice touch.
I have already booJed my return!
This is a beautiful guest house with modern furnishings, awesome plants, very comfortable beds, great showers, a sleek heated pool and jacuzzi, amazing included breakfasts, and a perfect location close to the Wilton Manors strip area. Ricardo and Guiseppe went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable and even provided extra meals/snacks/drinks and beach chairs/umbrella at no charge! Giuseppe who is Italian does the cooking and we felt like we were on vacation in Italy each morning. The food was just perfect and he even took into account our dietary restrictions. Ricardo who is Argentinian was very social and made sure we knew where to go and what to do each day and night. Although we are mostly a low key couple, we really appreciated the chances to meet people in the area and check out the scene. The first night was Giuseppe’s birthday and they included us in their dinner barbecue with friends. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and can assure you the other positive reviews are spot on and their hospitality and the quality of the house is not exaggerated.
I just enjoyed a wonderful stay at the beautiful Casa Hermes in Wilton Manors, FL. The home is beautiful, with a fantastic pool and jacuzzi. Each day, the home owners, who are now like friends - welcome you to the kitchen for a lovely and hearty breakfast/brunch.
As a world traveler, I have discriminating taste. I look at everything with great detail, as being comfortable in whatever environment I am in is paramount.
Here are a few things I noticed that most people may not care about, but I will still point them out.
1. The second floor, where three of the rooms are located has one air-conditioning unit. I prefer my sleeping room cold (around 68 degrees always). If there were other rooms utilized on the floor - this could become an issue, as some people have different degrees in which they prefer their sleeping room temperature. I would have preferred individual units in each bedroom.
2. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed. The beds are very comfortable, the closets have everything you need and the bathrooms are a nice size. I prefer all white, crisp sheets and towels when I travel. Again, this is just a preference.
3. As someone that works a lot, I usually require a work desk or a private area to work within my room. Instead of having this, you have ample space around the resort. You can use a large terrace outside, the downstairs living room or by the pool. If the resort is booked, you may not have the privacy you need - but with a large space, it may not be so bad. I pulled up a chair to the dresser and worked from there.
4. There is a laundry room, where you can find an iron and ironing board during your stay. I am an avid ironer, so if I had this in my room - I may appreciate it more. Still, the gracious hosts will set up anything you want at any time. Their flexibility is so appreciated.
5. There is a small refrigerator in the bedroom that the owners fill with water, which is again appreciated and something I look for in a hotel room/suite. If you wanted to buy your own alcohol for the room, you would likely need to store it in the refrigerator they have in the garage (as wine bottles or vodka would not fit in the refrigerator located in the bedroom). This is again, something they are willing to help with.
Please note that these are not necessarily criticisms, but I like to point out anything that may be useful to any future guests.
I hope to return to this little paradise in the future.
Giuseppe, Ricardo, Giuseppe, Ricardo, Giuseppe, Ricardo. We cannot speak highly enough about our Valentine’s Day weekend getaway to Casa Hermes, all thanks to those two. From the moment we first contacted Ricardo to book our trip, the process was seamless and he gave us all of the information about our arrival and upcoming stay. As soon as we walked through the doors of Casa Hermes, Giuseppe and Ricardo showered us with hospitality…and a welcome drink! The rooms were beautiful, the beds were amazingly comfortable, and the pool area was the perfect relaxing oasis. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and hearty lunches every day, made from scratch by Giuseppe. Not only were the ‘therapy sessions with “Dolores” [ie. Ricardo]’ and going out for Disco Night together with G & R both pleasantly unexpected, they truly were the most memorable aspects of a trip that we will never forget. We are so glad that we chose Casa Hermes for the small boutique-hotel feel, the one of a kind hospitality, and the new lifelong friendships that we made. This was our first trip to Fort Lauderdale but will most definitely not be the last. And we know exactly where we will be staying when we return—Casa Hermes! ~ Vinny & Ross
