Nice place
On the morning of 29/12/2020 at about 11.30 am, I went to the ALIA ecological station in Viale Guidoni in Florence to bring a small tank of used cooking oil and a broken pan.
All this in order not to do like many of my fellow citizens who, unfortunately, leave this particular waste out of the bin. When I arrived, I rang the bell and waited, as I was told to do, waiting for another person to come out. When after a while the barrier was raised, I entered also seeing a person going up to go out. When I arrived I see two Alia operators and one of them asks me if I had an appointment. When I answered in the negative and explaining that the barrier had been opened and I saw another person who was about to leave, all hell broke loose. I felt called a liar and that no one had opened the bar (according to him I had passed or above or below ?!) and that there was evidence of the cameras, to which I told him to watch the tapes and that one person, who was in line behind me, had seen me enter with the bar open. Not wanting to hear reasons, the guy kicked me out badly, even ironically wishing me well, not even wanting to weigh (as it should be done) the stuff I had brought. While I was going out, after having answered him in rhyme, because at almost 70 I do not intend to be mistreated by a "brat", however young, I saw that the barrier had been left open so that several cars and people on foot had entered, 'is that the operator had to go up to try to restore order and get a lot of people out. Unfortunately I was unable to take pictures because I did not have my mobile phone with me. I did not ask for the name of this operator, given my agitation, but the company could certainly identify him in today's shifts at this station.
There were two, I would say young people, one with kind glasses and the other one who was very rude (and I just say rude to be pretty). If the ALIA policy is to treat citizens who do their duty and above all pay your taxes, putting them at the mercy of these people, I must say that it is very wrong, but I hope that it is not so and it is only a question of unpleasant episode but above all not repeatable. I hope ALIA wants to locate this employee and get scolded at the very least. I will also send this review to some newspapers, so that those who go to the ecological stations know what to expect from some, let's call it, "operator".
Friendly staff. By appointment, they immediately directed me to the delivery point and in a moment I solved the problem of my bulky waste. Definitely a great service in a clean and safe environment
I would not have taken for granted the great service that is offered ... Very friendly and helpful
Very interesting place, clean and with very kind staff. I hope people bring the stuff there to dispose of instead of polluting the streets.
