Hotel room was ok, had a fridge and stove in the room which was a nice surprise.
The check-in was a bit of a pain with wanting to hang onto the id cards but we sorted it out.
The reception is in the next building over and the hotel is actually more like a small studio apartment.
Really no complains about my stay here. My rooms (I've been in two) were both clean and warm, the beds comfortable. All the staff very friendly and helpful, loved my long chat with one of the managers. The breakfast absolutely remarkable with wide choice of both salty and sweet foods, way above the average of hotel in the same category and even better than many hotel of higher category. Last but not least the city centre, although not extremely close is easy to reach in a few minutes by tram that stops 300 meters from the hotel.
Hotel Careggi is a nice, clean, affordable hotel with air conditioning in each room. They are not huge rooms but are fine for those who are just looking for a place to stay. The hotel staff was friendly and breakfast was good. I'd come back again. Its not in the city center but is just a quick 15 minute tram ride into the city.

A very very nice hotel in a convenient location. All staff very helpful. Hotel is clean and beds very comfortable. This hotel should be a 3 star rated as is more than comparable to most 4 star hotels I have stayed in.
