Centric LoHi is definitely one of the best apartment complexes I've lived in so far. All of the leasing agents, Robert in particular but also Dan & Kimberly, have been awesome and gone above and beyond what I've experienced living at other apartment complexes! I moved here from out-of-state during the pandemic so I was unable to tour in person. Kimberly was awesome and answered all of the questions I had during the virtual tour, even brainstorming how my current furniture might fit in the unit (I was downsizing moving here). After signing the lease, all of the agents were very communicative and friendly when answering all of my questions over phone/email that I had before I moved. The day I showed up, Robert gave me the tour of the community and I was blown away seeing the amenities in person - they are even better the pictures! Everyone in the building has been really friendly and you can't beat this location for walk-ability. The apartment is clean and modern and seems to be well built. So far, I haven't heard my neighbors on either side of me; you can only hear people talking in the hall which isn't frequent and has happened at every apartment complex I've lived in. I'm so happy I chose this apartment!!
For the amount of money it costs to live in this place, I’m having an awful experience. The floor plan I have is perfect with amazing views, but everything else is terrible. If you are not a college-aged, partying, dog owner, then this is not the apartment for you. The amenities have been unusable most of the year because of COVID—young, maskless people are the only people who use them (despite attempted COVID restrictions and rules by management), so I’m paying a whole lot of money for a whole lot of nothing.
Here are the detailed things to be aware of:
1. There is absolutely no sound insulation between floors. If you live beneath people who stay up really late, workout in their apartment, have parties, etc., you’re doomed, and management will not do anything to stop it because to them, any noise your neighbors make will be “acceptable routine noise,” even if it’s your drunk neighbors waking you up at 1am.
2. Management is friendly but unhelpful. Maybe it’s high turnover, but when I’ve had lease questions, problems with my key fobs, or when the fire alarms randomly go off in the building, I have to call and talk to about 3 different people to get answers. They always forget to call back. I actually feel bad for the employees because there probably aren’t enough of them to deal with all the problems that come up.
3. Dogs are constantly off lease, and there is frequently dog poop and pee INSIDE our stairwell from recurring accidents. The cleaning crew has to come deal with it because the owners never clean it up themselves.
4. Things are constantly broken or not working properly. An elevator or key fob reader will be out of commission for sometimes weeks at a time. The hot tub gets broken because drunk idiots get broken glass in it. Read the other review of the poor tenant who literally got stuck for hours in a broken, unmaintained elevator...nightmarishly bad.
I have been living at Centric LoHi for a year and just transferred from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom unit. My experience has been nothing but enjoyable, from amazing amenities to a highly professional and capable management staff. I would highly recommend this apartment to a friend.
Don't move to this poorly ran and unsecure building. In the 4 months I've lived here I've had my car window shattered and items stolen from the "secure" parking garage and had my bike stolen from the "secure" bike storage while it had a lock on it. Staff was no help at all. There are way better options out there than this dump.
Also, would like to note these break ins continue to happen and nothing has been done to prevent it. DON’T MOVE HERE
Can't say enough good things about my experience so far @ Centric. I moved cross country and the management team (in particular, Dan B.) have been more than accommodating. The location and amenities are second to none.
