I was a member of Spaces HK from January until August and overall my experience ended up disappointing. Some of the contributing factors to ending my contract was the travel timing of 3 avenues to Columbus circle transport hub and nearby food options were basically a subway, $12/lb buffet, or a grill/mart across the street.
Spaces HK opened in January with 190 offices planned but there were only about 15 people until July. The cert of occupancy shows a possible max of 597 people on both floors. Construction cost was estimated at $7.2 million on building permit 123685958 and my opinion is that Spaces will do or charge anything to pay that down.
Non-essential Spaces even stayed open in April during the stay at home order while a New Yorker was coronavirus dying every 3 1/2 minutes that entire month. There were no medical companies until June so don’t believe any spin. Following NY executive order we couldn't leave home but Spaces stayed open for billing. What got prioritized over the safety of the reception team and their families?
If you plan a visit the generic photos on the spacesworks website are wrong as of 7-12. Lobby construction was complete at open and they have had 189 days to post new photos. Seems like a bait and switch.
