Nice place during the day, with good food, cocktails and various drinks. There is a really cool interior restaurant area as well. The whole place turns into an awesome nightlife venue in the evening.
I moved to Denmark and started working from a fixed-desk at Republikken in the summer of 2018. Without the friends and community I found at the latter, I don't think I'd still be living here.
There are plenty of places to work and study in Copenhagen, but none match Republikken's charmed mix of creatives and business folk, order and chaos, Danes and expats, heavy drinkers and preternaturally calm baha'i Irishmen.
It's not a monoculture, and that's great - life's too short to spend with people who aren't weird, interesting and interested. It's a place that cultivates its community, with parties, groups, get-togethers - many growing organically, started by members taking the initiative - adding dimensions to the space beyond work.
If you're the newcomer I was two years ago, weighing options and reading those Reddit threads about expats unhappy and friendless in Denmark, Republikken is the right place to start.
TL; DR: Really good office community if you're looking for a productive environment with a great network.
Definitely recommended if you are looking for an office space for yourself, or your newly started company. Do not be afraid to not fit in if your company or project does not work directly with sound.
Many companies and individuals work on all sorts of projects - everyone works to create growth and kick-start projects. There are daily growth consultants present and you can easily get help with all sorts of things.
Even we have made great use of the network here. We spar with other companies, get tips and tricks, best practices and give some return. Since everyone is in the same boat in a way, thoughts and interests revolve around the same topics. If you have questions about something, there is definitely someone else in the hallway who has the answer.
The facilities are really good. A small kitchen is the only minus as it gets a little squeezed for lunch, but it works. Otherwise, the view over the Lakes is really delicious! The rooms have carpet and this is a really good thing!
Just try to hear the difference between the Sound House and the Rainmaker Loft in Holmen. Rainmaker Loft has hardwood floors and hard surfaces where large open spaces flow all sounds together into one large hallway sound mud. The acoustics are terrible out there, while at the Sound House it is wonderfully comfortable. Both in the rooms and in the open space. Just that you are actually capable of being productive is worth the price of a room in the House of Sound.
There is also A3 printer, coffee, cocoa, WiFi etc.
Even if space is sold out, it may be worth contacting the companies that rent space there. Sometimes they have available spaces that can be rented.
Stayed here a couple of nights - great Central location for Tivoli Gardens and local night life. Be aware at night - gentlemen walking alone on nearby Vestetbro WILL GET approached by local ladies of the night. Not an issue - just not interested and they left me alone after that. But I did eat in a great little restaurant in that area.
We at VAEKST can really recommend Regus on Gammel Kongevej for small companies.
A partner and I started the year 2020 with a small room for two people. The opportunity to sign short contracts, 1 month continuously, with a relatively low deposit, meant that we could get started smoothly in a professional office environment with low efforts. After that, we have been able to flexibly adapt our need for office space during the year by adding / upgrading with more and larger rooms at short notice in step with new recruitment. Today, a year later, we have moved out and have our own office on Vester Volgade. But the solution Regus has been able to offer us during the first growth phase has been absolutely central to being able to scale up our business to today's 20 employees.

One of the very best Scandic in the city. Perfect location to visit the different neighborhoods. The restaurant is not interesting however, over priced and too many nice alternatives in 500mtrs radius. Eat out for cheaper and better !
The staff here are very friendly and care about their various tenants. I have visited a lot of Spaces with my membership and this is one that has impressed me the most.
It is small compared to some of the others globally, which means at times some of the better seating is a bit hard to come by, but the attitude of the staff members, and the manager(s) more than make up for any minor facilities failings.
I'm a bit of an odd user when it comes to Spaces, in that I travel to the different locations. It was surprising and unusual, but welcome, that the area manager took the time to have a chat with me.
The location around the spaces is undergoing an uplift, but there are already some good sources of food within walking distance (a supermarket next door, and a larger one about 5-10 mins walk away), in addition to the onsite cafe.
It seems like a nice little community, and I will be sad to leave it when I move along to the next city.
I enjoyed my stay on a stop over in Copenhagen. Staff is super friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped into the door. The facilities are brand new and the whole place is flooded with natural light. Definitely have a coffee as it is super good! I‘ll be back next time when in town!
We have an office on KV16 and are super happy to be here. The place is really well run, there is great atmosphere among the residents and the roof terrace is fantastic. Highly recommended for all freelancers, startups, etc.
