We stayed here for one night. Unfortunately, the hostel has opening hours, so that we couldn’t check in when we arrived. When we were able to check in the staff was nice and we were assigned a room for ourselves. The room was alright, but also nothing special. The breakfast included coffee and baguette. Basic but alright. The booking process should be improved (only possible via email).
Absolutely the worst hostel i have ever been in. There is no doorlock so security is not guaranteed. As well, the shower needs you to push a button so that water will come. The biggest thing is that the hostel is not open during the day therefore you are locked out for the whole day.
I would defintely pay a little more premium and stay in a place that is closer to centre ville (this hostel is 25 min walking from centre ville)
The doors being locked from 10am to 5-6pm is an inconvenience, the breakfast selection was minimal and my room mate found a squished cockroach in the bed sheets giving by the hostel.
If your simply looking for somewhere to sleep at night and have all your days planned out it will probably suit you okay though.

loud and noisy hostel: people running around during night and at 06.00. Beds are terribly squaking when on tries to turn. During day hostel is closed: so you have to stay out for the whole day. Security is terrible: no roomkey, no lockers. Breakfast is realy minimalistic. Water from shower is 10 seconds and then you've to push the button again, and again... Kitchen is not clean. 20 minutes to centre of Colmar
For short: I would advice to go to the F1 motel
