Money focused clinic. They are not there to be doctors. They are business owners. If you are looking for a good family doctor to look after your health. Please go somewhere else!
There was a Chinese lady who registered me there. She took awful lot of time. Place is clean, tidy and the doctor I consulted for my medical was fair enough. Was not a big deal it was just for a blood test. They are expensive comparatively. Which I find a huge minus on them. You have on site parking. But I am doubtful whether have they got enough parking slots available.. When u r coming From Westfield Riccarton mall, it is on your left. Just by the road.. At the distance I would say u can not notice because the name board is covered by a tree. But still have to admire they were kind enough to keep the tree. But time to time it would have been good to proone so as the visibility increases.. When u r at the reception, it is not always comfortable to communicate with the receptionist as u might not hear what they say as it is covered and when it is a bit noisy..
We arrived early than the appointment time, but was still waiting 30 mins after the booking time. I had a lot of bad experience about this clinic, it's not my GP, it's my parents' GP. Every time we had to wait for more than 30 mins. If the doctors can't deal with that many patients, please don't over book appointments.
After seeing the doctor 50 mins later than the booking time, I give them one extra point just because this doctor is better than I thought. All in all, lots of room of improvement to do.
I've been with Doctors on Riccarton since having to do my work visa medical and the doctors and staff are the best. My son was delivered by one of the doctors and she took initiative to assist with getting the ball rolling for my son with autism! Every business has their ups and downs. And the pros are definitely more than the cons here for my family and I. Will definitely recommend and continue to support.
Really impressed with Doctors on Riccarton. Welcomed us back when we moved surgeries (due to location) and released that new clinic was unwelcoming and rude in comparison. No dramas with Doctors on Riccarton. Doctors, nurses and receptionists are all lovely.
