TL;DR- My experience at Ampersand was exactly what I was looking for. I would happily recommend it to anyone who is interested and I look forward to returning once things open up. Back in January 2020 I found myself in need of a dedicated work space. Having never been to a co-working space before I felt a bit apprehensive as I walked up to Ampersand. I am happy to say that apprehension melted away almost immediately upon entering due to the incredibly welcoming atmosphere created by Hillary and Brittany! Not only does Ampersand offer fantastic amenities, very reasonable rates and a staff this is more than willing to be flexible with your circumstances but they truly do foster a community. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic started before I had an opportunity to attend any of the many monthly events they host but you can tell that they really go out of there way to create a supportive, relaxed and comfortable environment. Case in point: One of the first things Brittany did once it became clear that COVID-19 was here to stay was reach out to everyone and offer to promote the many small businesses that use the space across Ampersand's wide network. This type of local support is key to helping small businesses weather the storm, so it was really heartening to see one small business helping others.
