Finding Le Village has helped us maintain our business through this uncertain time, and also launch another one in response to Covid. It has given me peace-of-mind as a mother and small business owner, and I have loved making connections with other like-minded people who are concerned about their children, and also trying to make their businesses work. Le Village is a huge support, and our 2.5 year old son loves his days there, has made so many friends and talks about his teachers all the time--a creative and caring bunch, ALL. So grateful to have found this VILLAGE during a time when I really really needed it.
We had our kiddo's 5 year old party here. It's a great space! There's a play area, lounge area, kitchen, and large table for the kiddos to sit together. Pricing was very affordable for all we got. The owners were very nice and welcoming.
Le Village has been hugely helpful for my family. They provide a safe, friendly and fun childcare space for my son and a capable, well-equipped coworking space for me. The teachers are all phenomenal with the kids. My son is constantly learning and growing under the same roof that I am working. I couldn't ask for a better childcare or coworking space. It's truly a perfect situation for working parents.
Le Village was an answer to our prayers when I was ready to go back to work in my life coaching business after having my son. As we’ve all discovered with the pandemic, working from home with a baby just doesn’t really happen. I truly believe LV helped our family establish work/life balance that pulled me through my PPD and now has become a community our boy loves. It really does take a village! My friends in other cities are jealous we have this flexible option to support working parents. I love that I can be onsite with my kid too especially convenient for breastfeeding. Can’t say enough good things. If you’re working for affordable childcare and coworking spot this is it!
This place is a literal lifesaver - it has given me back the opportunity to have a life separate of taking care of my 1 year old! After having a baby and living in a town with no family (and daycare wait lists that somehow expected me to sign up years before I was actually pregnant), there was no other option than for me to be home with my son all day, every day. Which is fine until you want to pay a bill, or do some work, have a phone call or really do anything that doesn't directly benefit your child in that moment. Le Village came at a time when I definitely needed more resources and I've gotten that and so much more. And anyone who has been cooped inside their home during a long Chicago winter knows how vital getting out is, and sometimes that is way easier said than done. Hot coffee, a comfortable work environment, & networking with amazing and like minded people are just few of the benefits I've found from becoming a Le Village member. And my son likes it too - he has connected with his teachers & is thriving socially. We feel lucky to be here!
