Human Citizen Workplace is a terrific place to work, study, or really do whatever you need to! Tony and team are amazing! The place is meticulously maintained and is a very comfortable environment all around.
HCW varies from other places as one can develop relationships with others and help/learn/grow from their experience. Occasional social gatherings allow you to get work done in a professional environment and still be connected to people (optional lunches/socials/happy hours hosted by Tony).
I have worked out of other shared offices; others either try really hard be very upscale (but your monthly payment will reflect that), or others are loud and distracting, and then there are the ones where they think they can "set it and forget it" as they rent a spot, put desks in it, and think they are a shared workspace.
I'd highly recommend stopping in and checking the place out!

The Shift is an awesome co-working space that provides everything you need to work, collaborate and be successful. They have amazing perks and a great community of people. Wifi that works with no slow down, coffee, tea, and snacks all provided. Definitely check it out.
Nicole, the owner of The Shift, is passionate about community empowerment and goes out of her way to support members. This is a great option for anyone looking for a co-working or meeting space on Chicago's north side.
Good place to get stuff done. Friendly owner, snacks, coffee, and WiFi without the coffee house pressure and expenditures. Nicole is building community here, too, through events. Check it out!
