Fantastic place full of vibrant people of all ages and several companies with great open spaces and common areas without being too informal. If you need to rent an office or a place to work, it's very well worth checking it out
Location, location, location. It's by far my favorite coworking space in Chicago. The place is welcoming and the staff is always very helpful. Some events might be a little distracting but I rent a small private office so that’s not a big issue for me. Highly recommend.

Let me start by saying, the office spaces and make staff are excellent. The offices are always clean, there is always fresh coffee brewed, and the staff is attentive and responsive.
However the building the Make offices are in is a hot mess. The elevators are frequently broken making it extremely time consuming to get to the make offices (sometimes people have to wait 10+ minutes for an elevator). The building also houses a school which means that there are frequently young kids blocking the entrance. I've witnessed multiple people raising the issue to the building staff however they really aren't willing to work with the school to resolve the issue.
Finally some tenants don't respect the personal space and needs of other tenants. You can frequently find tenants taking sales or personal calls in front of private offices that they don't lease even though there are private call rooms provided. This lack of respect for others needs can make working in the space a bit more stressful than necessary depending on who you get placed next to.
