My ultimate home office away from home! This beautiful space is run by amazing humans who have created the perfect environment to get work done and take a true break. Fun member events, socially engaged community, delicious coffee (iced AND hot!), delicious snacks, a gorgeous rooftop with wifi and the occasional cute dog appearance. Super convenient Logan Square location.
I've been at Ampersand for almost as long as they've been open, and the place just keeps getting better. Great space, great staff, great community. The icing on the cake: Of all the coworking spaces I've tried, Ampersand has the most comfortable furniture. If your butt has to be in a seat all day, it might as well be a nice one.
Great, friendly atmosphere. Solid snack selection. Awesome staff + ownership who actually care about the people who work here. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a place to work in the Logan area.
TL;DR- My experience at Ampersand was exactly what I was looking for. I would happily recommend it to anyone who is interested and I look forward to returning once things open up.
Back in January 2020 I found myself in need of a dedicated work space. Having never been to a co-working space before I felt a bit apprehensive as I walked up to Ampersand. I am happy to say that apprehension melted away almost immediately upon entering due to the incredibly welcoming atmosphere created by Hillary and Brittany!
Not only does Ampersand offer fantastic amenities, very reasonable rates and a staff this is more than willing to be flexible with your circumstances but they truly do foster a community.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic started before I had an opportunity to attend any of the many monthly events they host but you can tell that they really go out of there way to create a supportive, relaxed and comfortable environment.
Case in point: One of the first things Brittany did once it became clear that COVID-19 was here to stay was reach out to everyone and offer to promote the many small businesses that use the space across Ampersand's wide network.
This type of local support is key to helping small businesses weather the storm, so it was really heartening to see one small business helping others.
This co-working space truly has everything you need (& then some). Both the staff and community members are kind and respectful of everyone's needs.
