Some of the most beautiful hand crafted items that you will ever see. Not a lot of the typical tourist souvenir stuff. Mostly local authentic handmade stuff. From hair brushes to musical instruments, paintings, wood carvings, clothes.Every kind of local foods you can imagine. Try the Chiang Mai sausage it's delicious. If you are in Chiang Mai on a Sunday evening. This is a must do.

Worked out of here for 5 weeks in Aug/Sep 2019. One of the best coworking spaces I’ve been to anywhere in the world. By that I mean if you want to get your head down and work with no interruptions this is the place for you. It was quiet at this time of year so if you’re looking for more of a community/people to shoot the breeze with I’d head to another place in Chiang Mai.

My boyfriend and me stayed here for an month. It was the best hotel where we stayed yet. The location is great, everything around what you need 24/7.
We loved the friendly staff and helpfulness. They helped us always with lots of questions that we asked. They are always in a good mood - it felt more like friendship - not like a hotel.
The hotel was always clean and is very modern. We love the minimalist style! Passing through the door the first time we knew we will feel very comfortable here.
The lobby is great for work. There are enough sockets and possibilities to sit. The pool area is very nice and relaxing if you need some break from working.
Thank you guys for that wonderful stay! We love you and fell also in love with your incredible orange cake.
We miss you.
Big hugs,
Axel and Heidi

This space is so so so cool for your brain and soul while working or just relaxing with a tea/coffee. They have very nice space outside to work or people chillout. The another one is "quite-space" 100% focusing on work.

We had an amazing time here. We stayed in a suite with terrace and it was an excellent choice. The room itself was very spacious, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and the terrace!! Oh it was love at first sight. And it is so peaceful and quiet while located in the heart of the old city.
The most fantastic thing was how our child was treated by everyone. We got an extra bed for our kid with no extra charge, we didn't even have to ask. We ordered coffee at the cafe - our kid received a glass oh orange juice and a bowl of crackers, etc etc, it was just so nice and heartwarming, we were so pleasantly surprised.
The whole resort is very picturesque, every corner is picture-perfect. Breakfast is delicious. It's not a buffet, but everyone got enough food to start the day, and coffee was really good.
Sincerely recommend to anyone. And our family is looking forward to come back sometime.

Basically started from Ta Pae Gate. A huge Sunday walking street. Lots and lots of shops and people.
Lots of northern style products. Lots of foods. Also some handicrafts and art pieces.
Hope it available daily but unfortunately only Sunday night.

This is a lovely co-working space. Located on the lower floor of a hostel, there are around 8 single desks, and two shared tables. All surrounded by plugs and their WiFi is lightning fast. The chairs recline and move up and down which is a bonus. They provide free lunch and snacks all day. Snacks include fruit, biscuits, crackers and a variety of teas and coffees.
It's so nice and quiet too. Everyone is very respectful and professional, working away with headphones in.
There is a small balcony where you can smoke, relax or eat your lunch. You can also sit on the floor above on their common area for lunch.
It's 150 per day which is a really good price, especially including lunch etc.

Small night market that expands to both sides of the main road. The roads get busy and the people are excited for food and social hour. Drinks are on tap and toktoks are ready to take you for a night out on the town. Excellent experience and I’m looking forward to it again.

I love the walking streets. There less packed now. I just stroll about and look at people and things. If your not in a hurry it's a great way to spend and evening. Of this is your first time make sure to check out the silver temple. It's wonderous at night.

This might be the best hostel I ever stayed in. The building is beautiful and clean, the location is convenient, breakfast is good and the swimming pool is a blessing. They also rented out bikes for cheap. One of the staffmembers even took me with here on the back of her motorcycle one night to share a meal and wander around at a market. Had a real good time there.

You really get more than you'd expect at this small boutique hotel. Clean, spacious, individually controlled shower heater, new quiet efficient aircon. A walk out porch. Bidet gun. Quality toiletries, free water in the room AND lobby fridge, and a small complimentary in room snack bar! Who else does that?
There's a luggage lift. But only three levels of stairs, so most people can manage.
As for surroundings, Loi Kroh Soi 2 is just to the right, and will take you to Loi Kroh bar district.
The moat area is also an easy stroll away if you keep walking. And if you turn left out the front door a 7/11 is just a half block away.
Some clean local food stalls, a couple tiny Japanese restaurants, and even massage, are also open until about 9pm right outside.
Although the severe conditions of Covid have forced the on-site restaurant to close, Maddogs Pizza (and Bar) on the moat is open (one if the very few) and serves breakfast from 0830. I'll be back at Old City Wall Inn very soon!
