Basically started from Ta Pae Gate. A huge Sunday walking street. Lots and lots of shops and people.
Lots of northern style products. Lots of foods. Also some handicrafts and art pieces.
Hope it available daily but unfortunately only Sunday night.
Although vegans and vegetarians might struggle here a bit the selection of dinner options is quite impressive. It is street food and it ranges from chicken feet noodle soup with plentiful local herbs to coconut deserts to smoothies to “no name” anything.
Super Market offering a huge choice of fruits/vegetables /meats /snacks and clothes etc.
Must mention the stall that sells bananas at the entrance of the market which has the sweetest and best bananas we have ever tasted in Thailand.(next to 7/11 near Chiang Mai gate).
Nice elderly lady works there who sells quality fruit at bargain prices.
Great selection of street vendors. Best food value in Chiang Mai.
After long night out and you guys want something to take away this market is the answer because it's the only place before Dawn that sells so many foods so many many and it fresh! And it's nice to see the crowded local people walking and living like usual
