Great night market. Lots of food, clothes, activities
A fun little market to wander around at night in Chiangmai. It opens from 5 till midnight and you can find lots of cute stuff like clothes or decorations. One of the many nights market in Chiangmai I love to vist:)
Was unimpressed by selection of foods at food court, pretty tourist-oriented. Grilled squid was too tough. Dumplings tasted like they came from the grocery freezer back in the States. Rolled ice cream place stingy with toppings.
After 10 years in Thailand, I had to wait till my sister visited to actually eat at this Thai Food Court. Having done so with my sister and Thai family, I would readily return. Everything foodwise in one central location. All the Thai staples plus Seafood, Roti's, Pizza, Kebabs, Mexican, Vegetarian and many many more. Everything at local prices. Cold beer, Smoothies and sodas all readily available. Live music at decent levels and traditional Thai dancing included. A casual atmosphere with ample seating. Chang is served from a dedicated stall if you are inclined. If not, a 50 metre stroll gets you to the very handy Mini Big C with many types of ice cold beers in the fridge. I'll be back for sure.
Good place for sightseeing and souvenirs shopping! The colours at the market are just eye candy! The smell and the people. I like this place.
