Love coming to work here every day! Awesome atmosphere, people and amenities. Ethan does a great job as the office manager. Would definitely recommend Workhaus Core
I've been working at this office space for over 3 months now. I had nothing bot positive experience with both, management and local tenants. I made some new friends, tried some new beers, and overall I feel like Workhaus has been a real mental support to my system during these creepy times. I appreciate how rigorously they follow all of the covid guidelines and their coffee machine has become my Calgary's favorite barista! Ethan, the Office Manager, is going above and beyond to keep us all close enough while staying apart. Wifi never failed me and I've never felt cold in my office despite the whole North Pole situation outside. The building is secure, and I like that I can come here anytime 24/7. The only improvement I would make: a vending machine would be nice! I know there is a fridge, and all, but sometimes when you pull an overnighter, you want chips or chocolate bars...and despite the whole pandemic situation, I am still not crazy enough to call on Uber for a Hershey :) Thanks for being there in my life and look forward to community events, when pandemics gets to an end.
Manager discussed my lease and in front of other tenants creating tension for those paying the same but not having access to my own space - which I was offered on the phone and during the tour. Arrived to a meeting with a potential client and found my desk and belongings being moved without my consent and without warning. When I set boundaries of what I expected, I was told he was aloud to move my things because I was only a trial client. Received no contract, services promised were then retracted. No information on how and where to make payment. Acted in good faith, and when my space was violated and I set boundaries and expectations, I was gas lighted, and told I couldn't return. The interaction was treated emotionally, unprofessionally, and alienated me from the two other dedicated desk tenants. Instead of being solutions focused and professional, the manager became defensive and used verbiage to alienate me from "the community". The services were over promised, retracted, and then no accountability was taken. I hope this will encourage others to demand a contract (I received no emails despite claims from the manager - he even screenshot an email he had in drafts that was never sent), and to ask that he not discuss the terms of offerings of your agreement in front of others. Perhaps don't leave anything of value in your office as there seems to be no respect of personal space.
Awesome place to work. I'm a dedicated desk user (software dev). The bike parking and the gym are great perks. The staff is very friendly, helpful and flexible to ensure all your needs are met.
Great co-working environment. I have a dedicated desk here and the space and other members are awesome. Highly recommend!
