Friends Work Here is no ordinary co-working space. A small, bright space (compared to bigger chain spaces), Friends is filled with highly driven creative professionals who are at the top of their respective fields. Graphic designers, photographers, writers and entrepreneurs of all stripes work, collaborate and shoot the breeze together.
Pretty cool workspace with modern decor designed for the entrepreneur in mind. I heard that it was a bank many years ago and Spaces Fort Greene kept the vault as part of their decor which is cool.
They have the first and second floors for their business. On the second floor, there are several small offices with doors that provide privacy if needed. There is also an open space with seatings with a large window that brings in natural lighting and all of that good ole vitamin D.
Let me tell you about the rooftop which is awesome. They have a rooftop lounge area with a small seating area but the view is amazing. It's a pretty good idea to be able to de-stress by just relaxing here without a care in the world. I definitely would love to spend a few hours to regenerate myself. The place is pretty large so they should implement more seating to accommodate the space.
I have had a great experience in the year that I’ve been at this location. From day one of my tour to the signing of my lease agreement the property manager was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. She always replies very quickly to all of my email inquiries and always strives to help me as best she can whenever I’ve needed assistance with a situation. Wether coming in to the building or leaving she will always greet you with a kind and caring hello and goodbye with a smile and I’ve always appreciated the respect I’ve received during my year of doing business there. With the level of service I’ve received so far I plan on maintaining my lease there for the foreseeable future.
BCL combines the amenities of a fancy coworking space with the humanity of the neighborhood. They have great coffee and amazing internet; you can get a soda for $0.50 (!!) and they'll take care of mailing your package. I've been super impressed by the measures they're taking during COVID - masks worn indoors, frequent cleaning of surfaces, hand sanitizer everywhere, touchless lighting in the bathrooms. Great space run by lovely people.
A great place to work. Private desk, comfortable, very quiet, nice ambiance. Outdoor space, lounge and kitchen ordinarily. Open 24 hours. Scott, one of the owners is a pleasure to know and interact with. Lockers available too.
love working out of industrious. blows away any of the weworks i've used. really attentive and thoughtful staff - they've fostered a really good sense of community here and designed a very nice space. and the snacks....breakfast and afternoon are next level.
Oh I remember here I WON the" Best Business Intern of year Award" I was so excited my husband and I decided to dance on "Dancing with the Stars" Yeah, i worn my sexy white dress and he worn his sexy grey suit I ran to him he picked me up did a perfect lift and Did a Dirty dance. However, we won 1st Prize. Yeah!!!!
Firstly from the time that I toured GreenDesk last June 2019 and now- my experience with the product has been awesome. But what really makes my experience here fantastic are my encounters with Amanda ( manager at 155 Water St ) and Justine ( manager at 68 Jay St). They always answer all of my inquires in a timely basis and always have answers to all of my 100 questions and 100 concerns. These women make me feel as if I’m the only tenant. They always have a smile and a hello ALWAYS.. They make Green Desk a 5 star co working experience.
We opened our first shop DA SPOT NYC at the Shops at Front Street managed by Green Desk. We started with one shop and then we were able to expand to two shops within 6 months. This space has afforded us the opportunity to build our business and Justine is always very responsive to our needs and concerns. One major improvement has been the provision of A signs in front of the building. It helps market to passerbys and directs traffic to our shops and the offices. I am confident that increased marketing efforts by Green Desk will enhance the the value of the co-working spaces and shopping mall.
What a great co-working space! We moved our small business into the Yard: Gowanus late last year and love it. The spaces are clean and neat, the people are super friendly, and there's a small gym that has all the essential equipment for a quick workout at lunch.
Lot's of co-working spaces offer fancy digs and features for days, but not all of them can offer a warm and friendly community you look forward to seeing and catching up with - the Yard has that.
I've been at Green Desk for over 6 months and I couldn't be happier!
The entire interior is glass - so you can always see a window! This is a major, major plus over other co-working locations. My office is on the interior, and I still have natural light.

... and now that it is getting nice, take note that there is a roof teck with tables that is amazing for working or taking a break.
I was preparing for my CFA exam and spent weeks trying to look for a good study place. Ever since I found park slope desk, I couldn't stop going whenever I was trying to get things done wether study or work.
It is set up nicely, where you could be really efficient and focus with no distractions. There is a new room now with more desks with more sunlight which is amazing. Everything I need is there: printer, small notes, desk lamp, monitors etc. A kitchen with hot/cold water, different kinds of coffee and tea. even a fridge where I could keep my sandwiches/prepped meals! I rented a locker to keep my books and an extra charger.
I would go every day after work not carrying anything but my laptop.
It is very quiet and all members strictly respect the rules. No food or drink or calls at their desk. Everyone is there to focus which is great.
I think the membership is great value to services offered and the hours are pretty amazing too.
The day before my exam, my charger stopped working and I started panicking. I emailed Cosmo, the owner, and he comes back with two cables in less than 15 minutes. I will always be very grateful for this kind gesture.
