Reviews from visitors:
Great hangout spot. That building was nothing for the longest time . They finally developed it and they did a good job at it. Outdoor seating is nice. And all sorts of little restaurants inside gives plenty of options . I highly recommend.
Trillium out building is an easy in and out for great beer.
Edit: This has been resolved.
DO NOT PARK HERE. You've been warned — I kid you not, they do not publicly advertise their full-priced parking rates anywhere.
On Monday, 8/10 I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience parking at 401 Park. On two occasions over the past two weeks, I've attempted to reach out to the General Manager to resolve this, as encouraged by the "Responses from the owner." No one ever responded.
I was under the impression that parking would be $10 validated for three hours, possibly $20 for a normal rate plus maybe another $5-10 for the additional hour. How high could it be, right? After all, your full rates aren't visible anywhere so I'm only left to assume. With the typical Boston rate for this amount of parking being $20-25, I felt as if my assumption was made in good judgment.
As you could probably imagine, at this point, I was astonished to discover that the price for my parking was a whopping $38. As a customer, I feel this is unjustifiable both in price and lack of advertising of the full rate.
In my emails that fell upon deaf ears, I requested a partial refund of my parking fee and more honest advertising of the full parking rate at 401 Park.
When COVID isn't messing with things this is an incredibly fun spot to spend an hour or three. You're near the Fens, which provides beautiful walks. You have some truly outstanding food stalls inside, and a luxurious shopping experience via stores like REI. And then of course there's Trillium Fenway, where you can have some of the best beers being produced in America. I only took a star off because the premium opportunities come with a premium price. Trillium is very expensive, even when compared with its peers like Bissell Brothers and Alchemist, though similar to Tree House. The food stalls charge hipster prices, but support it by being truly exceptional food. And the storefronts are all luxury brands so you know what you're getting into when you go in there. Boston is a highly walkable city, and this is a spot you should walk to.
So many great places to eat either healthy or decadent food and great prices. A couple of bars, music not to loud and a feeling of mixing with the crowd at the spacious tables. Sometimes you have to wait for seating it's so popular.
