Reviews from visitors:
For a cheap price (28€/night for a standard double room) it was okay.
The staff is polite, the rooms look clean, the balcony was very big. It was pretty quiet, there are blinds to darken the room, we slept well. The location is alright. To the beach it's just 5 minutes walking. There's supposed to be a private beach for 10€/day for two deck chairs and an umbrella, but the free beach is 20 minutes away (we came during low season and just placed our towels on any part of the beach for free). There are bars and shops close by.
But the hotel and everything in it is old and looks like it. The fittings in the bathroom are rusty, to open the tiny window you have to pull on a rusty screw. The Bathroom is small, the toilet is crammed between shower and wall. The toilet flush is not really working properly.
You could feel the springs of the mattresses and the double bed was two single beds they slided apart every once in a while.
There was no Wi-Fi in the room.
After asking which Wi-Fi I have to use they tell me it's not working in the room. Asked if it's gonna be repaired soon they say "i don't think so, it's just not working these days...sorry".
For the closed pool we got similar information: "we just closed it down, cause it's rainy and cold these days..". What are "these days"? Corona pandemic times? End of September?
In the lobby the Wi-Fi works, but just after given several conflicting information about which Wi-Fi and password by the staff, who are sitting on the terrace, chatting, not seeming very interested to help. When checking out we asked for a compensation or discount for the missing pool and Wi-Fi. The staff then claimed they never had Wi-Fi in the rooms and the pool regularly closes in September. Those informations were allegedly available and there must have been a problem or false information in our booking. The homepage we booked from indeed gives conflicting information. In a property description it says
"Rooms are air conditioned and include free Wi-Fi and TV. " and the room description says "This air-conditioned room has [...] free Wi-Fi.".
Under 'facilities' free WiFi is again listed but further down it's specified "Free! WiFi is available in public areas and is free of charge."
We didn't find any information about the pool.
We didn't have breakfast for 5€ extra, because we were told it's just sweet things. We spend 3 nights there, end of September, during the corona pandemic.
the renovated rooms are very nice, the staff working around hotel is very helpful and nice, but sadly enough not at the front desk - they welcome you with a smile, but later on refuse to even speak to you in english, or take a grand proportion matter into their consideration.
in hospitality business you can not insult the guests or refuse to talk to them - you are in wrong line of business if so - or not take in consideration the health safety issue matter, that can harm people, as at this property.
take the breakfast rather at some caffetteria, bar or bottega near by, it is not worth the money, even with excuses that it is like this because of corona. and you get proper coffee there as well.
cleanliness is not an issue - the rooms are cleaned every day, they change you whole set of towels and even the sheets if you ask them.
if you have any allergies or asthma, don’t go there. or if you don’t want to get the lip herpes or itchy skin or eyes, catch a sore throat, don’t go either. in is not even good for kids for the same matters.
(pictures van say much more than words)
Very nice hotel w couples. Staff is helpful and kind, rooms are cleaned every day.
The room was small; not enough outlets. The breakfast was nothing special, but they did have soy milk. Housekeeping was excellent and the front deck personal were very nice.
Average accomodation, big balconies, very kind staff and very good location - 10mins to city center. Ideal place to stay just for the night - business trip. We were in November, so our feelings could be different during the summer.
