I have been to a few co-working spaces in Barcelona. MOB offers quite an average price compared to others. The cafe and the 3D printing service is so far the main attraction for this place, however the seating are horrendously uncomfortable. I have chose this place because it is founded by an architecture community. It is a real shame that their quality of chosen furniture are so low ( but maybe functional). Especially the ' individual telephone room', i had to hold a call with my client. It was reflecting echoes which doesn't at all serve the purpose of that room. As an architect myself, this is a total joke of quality.
Upon visiting MOB Bailén, I really don't understand why anyone would pay -what they ask- for a seat at this office.
The furniture on offer is awfully uncomfortable, there is very little, if any, ventilation, nor natural light.
My feeling is that they charge a lot for nothing.
Also, I find suspicious the connection with the Ajuntament.
I don't like WeWork because I consider the seating arrangement to be too tight, but this is way worst. Marketing hype, I guess.
My advice: head to the public library. It's free and better. Coworking spaces in the city need a lot of improvement and less greediness from management.

I've been working at MOB for almost 2 years now and will be there for many more! The space is beautiful, open, and fresh, a really great atmosphere for getting work done but also feeling comfortable. I've made so many business connections and have actualized some truly amazing projects I never would have been a part of if it weren't for MOB. Coming to Barcelona and knowing no one, MOB has been absolutely essential in forming both my professional and social communities.
I have been working in several co-working spaces in barcelona and this one, one of the oldest in the business in the city, is 0 pretentious, very functional and with a strong community. Very nice and helpful stuff and very well taken care of. Not with the views with other coworkings but certainly very well located and with a unique style.
