I’ve truly had the best experience with Skyhouse. I moved in 8/2020. From the first phone call to receiving my keys, the leasing experience was fantastic. They dealt with me coming back multiple times to look at similar units just so I could take measurements. I think I was pretty annoying, but they NEVER made me feel that way. I was never acknowledged with anything but a physical smile or a smiling voice over the phone. Everything went smoothly through the leasing process. There was not one thing that seemed off.
I’ve been here now for a month. I am impressed with their at attentiveness, friendliness and professionalism. The office staff, concierge staff and maintenance staff are all great. My apartment is everything I was looking for. When I did the walkthrough, there was essentially nothing I could find- the place was clean, freshly painted and in perfect condition.
I’m pretty blown away. I did not expect this. It is a great building in a great location, but I figured there would be some trade off. There hasn’t been. This place, so far, is the community and home I was hoping for. I feel very fortunate to call Skyhouse home.
***Update: I’ve now been here nearly half a year. Everything I said previously holds true. I absolutely, 100% recommend checking Skyhouse out. I honestly don’t have a single thing to complain about. I am so thankful to be here. I checked a lot of places out and lived in one of the other high rises downtown. If you are like me and checking Austin out from afar (or even close) this should be at the top of your list.
This review is specifically for my lease inquiry experience. I dealt with Chassity who was terse and impolite throughout my in-person visit. I identified a unit which I expressed interest for and emailed about after a few hours. She notified me that someone else had taken the unit, and did not respond to my reply asking for any follow up information. I would have appreciated better communication that the unit could have been taken by someone else that day.
If you are looking for apartments in this neighborhood, I would recommend Camden Rainey Street as their leasing staff were far more professional and helpful. Otherwise - if you are willing to pay a bit more, I would recommend checking out the Catherine which is where I ended up going with and am very happy with my choice.
Awesome building, location, and staff. I have lived in numerous high rises before and this is hands down the most well run. The staff is super friendly and the door people know everyone in the buildings name.
This apartment building is absolutely great. The stuff is very professional, nice and friendly. The amenities (specially gym and pool) are very well maintained. You will love his place, same as I still do
Location and amenities are wonderful. People are cool and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place to live.
