I stayed here long time ago, and reading other reviews, i see nothing has improved since then. It's still among the worst hostels i ever stayed in. Not the least because of the opening hours, but after ten years i still remember the air was just bad inside, like from using wrong products on the wood (Carboline?) or no ventilation, lay awake almost all night cause i couldn't breathe properly.
The worst hostel in my life and I think in the world. The staff is very rude ! The hair is stale and so hot. You must get out at 10 until a not specific hour and the price is so high for this service ! There is not a great atmosphere.
Be careful. Avoid this hostel.
It was 10 years ago but it was a really bad experience that I wouldn't forget. As a photographer I had to go out early in the morning to chase the golden hour & back to take a rest. Then went out again in the afternoon till sunset. I had no time waiting for the bfast. The kitchen staff was so nice to prepare some take away bfast for me, but the hostel staff was very cruel & did not allow that.
The hostel rule was to keep all the guests out of the hostel at 9am till 4 pm. None was allowed to enter the hostel. What the ****!!!

Careful! This hostel closes between 11 and 17. You won't be able to enter the hostel at that time.
The staff was friendly, but not very knowledgable about the city.
The hostel has thin walls and loud corridors.
A wind storm caused the window shutters to bang loudly for two hours late at night. I would suggest a hotel.
