Reviews from visitors:
One of the most unique hôtel in France. The fact that the design of it was given by Maja Hoffmann to a unique artist Jorge Pardo makes it a very special place.. We loved the colours of the tiles the furnitures the paintings. It made you feel like in a illuminated place all the time. Prices are ok . Restaurant and Bar are nice. Mostly organic simple and good food.
We wanted to come back this year of course..but due to Civid had to cancel..but we will definitely be back..when we go down to Camargue. The proximity of the interesting LUMA foundation is really a plus.. We love Arles the region The Chassagnette and the Ferias see you soon
Incredible decor, but one needs to take time to study each piece and part to try understand the themes and why it was done this way.
It would have been helpful for a short written brief in order to dial into the creators' minds. But anyway, just an amazing experience,
Only problem was that room 30's aircon smell bad. We kept it off for as long as possible, but being summer this was not entirely possible.
This is meant to be a constructive review .
The air conditioning was not functioning properly or it was inadequate for the size of the room, especially after returning from a very hot and tiering day.
The mini bar should have been checked prior to arrival being that it wasn't functioning for the first hours of our stay.
A bathtub shower must have a place to hang it , otherwise to wash one's hair becomes difficult. One cannot expect a client to wash one's hair with only one hand . I had to ask my husband to hold it for me!
The television , for some obscure reason, turned on by itself at 3:00 am !
The bathroom door squeaked and needed oiling. When pointed out , they provided promptly,
We tried the restaurant and it was amazing, great atmosphere, beautiful deco, and very tasty food.
We stayed in L'Arlatan for 3 nights and even before our actual visit they have already been very attentive, asking us about our preferences to assign the "best fitting" room individually. During our stay this first impression has only been reinforced by a very discrete but elaborate room service and just an overall good vibe in the whole space of the hotel. There is a lot of staff and everyone knows English very well and is taking best care of your needs. We also appreciated their car parking service since the narrow streets and whole parking situation inside the city is rather difficult to handle if not used to. This space truly is as good as it looks!
