A poor excuse for a 4 star hotel. Our one night stay was comfortable enough but not to the standard I would expect for a Mercure.
The interior is all very old and in dire need of refurbishing. The carpets are dated. The bathroom sink was yellow and cracked. The shower water pressure was low and it barely got warm enough to be comfortable for a shower. There was mould on the shower ceiling.
I asked for a cork screw to open a bottle of wine I had bought and they didn't have one, or at least the night staff didn't know where one was - the best he could offer me was a butter knife. His excuse is that all their wines are screw cap but that doesn't mean a well stocked bar or kitchen at a hotel should not have one available for guests.
There is no on site or hotel owned parking and you have to park at a multistorey car park around the corner (€18.50 per day at the Diamant car park).
A room for two people also only provided one complimentary small bottle of mineral water.
These are basic things which I would expect from any 4 star hotel in a city centre.
I'm not sure if that is covid consequence but price was very good for quality ratio. Location close to center. Quiet and next to green park. Breakfast good enough for 15 euro. Large room clean and tidy
Very good staff. Located in the middle of the city, close by to airport and sea ports both.
Right on the main road.
Food here is decent not good but not average too.
Hotel offers free high speed wifi too.
The waiting lounge is fine.
Lot of problems with technical staff. Electricity and WiFi is always missing
Good hotel. Neat and clean rooms, nice and comfy bed. Coffee and tea available in your room. Rituals products in bathroom. Good breakfast; everything very fresh and more than enough choice.
