A part of the Antwerp city in Belgium where you can buy all your jewellery needs such as diamond, gold, silver and all other precious stones and metals. Antwerp is the diamond capital of the world.
A very unforgettable experienced that I had while looking for a gift for my friend's wedding. It's like a museum of jewelry. The staff was great and very knowledgeable as they walk me around on their displays.
Excellent place to visit, we were given an very formative tour of the workshops by a charming and pleasant young lady who showed us various artisans at work, cutting and setting diamonds, among them a gentleman in his eighties who has been cutting and polishing diamonds for six decades. There are plenty of opportunities to purchase the fruits of their labour, but with out the hard sell you get with some establishments.
This was an incredible and everlasting experience. Indeed our guide was impeccable giving us precious information on the diamond chain from beginning to end and showing us the beautiful diamonds they sell! Strongly recommend this sight in Antwerp and don’t forget to ask for Claudia !
Must do with the family or if you want some quality diamonds!
Went for a bus tour and this place was on ticket for a free tour of the diamond jewelry making process with no expectation of buying anything. Was interesting to see how and they do it. Pleasant ladies in shop.
