I had a spare day in Antwerpen Berchem and what a great idea was it to spend it in Fridays coworking space! Great silent zone to keep yourself focused on your job, inspiring and kind people to talk to, tasty coffee and waffels to keep you cheered up during the day. A beautiful architecture with history. One of the must see places in Antwerp. Literally 2 hours training journey from Belgian capital Brussels. Trains runs across European countries. Border less Europe gives the freedom to its citizens and visitors. You feel the strength of unity when you visit the EU countries.
Bart and the rest of the Humgy team really made us feel at home on our visit to Antwerp. As Americans overseas, we needed to do work in unusual hours. Having a comfortable coworking space near great restaurants and culture allowed us to work and still have good cultural experiences. Thank you Humgy for the warm welcome. You made our working trip a true pleasure.
I worked here for 5 months .
First of all the location is central and easily accessible. Even by car (there's a parking nearby) or public transportation or the bike. Secondly, the office facilities are excellent, there's a fresh coffee bean machine, clean desks & everything your need. Thirdly the atmosphere is great and you can make use of their network to grow your own business. Lastly, the support of the owners is excellent. There are open communication lines and they'll do everything to help you.
Thus, I can advice this coworking space.
Very nice place, authentic atmosphere, decor, and sense of space! The staff guided the tour in a professional and very friendly manner, answered all questions, and offered a suitable financial solution. Special attention is paid to a well-organized co-workplaces. You are in a common space with colleagues, but at the same time, you have your private working-space.
Best kept secret in an area where you would not expect it, but which it certainly deserves. Real co-working formula and atmosphere, partly due to the commitment of the owners / managers.
For a short period I needed a workplace in the center of Mechelen. After some searching, I came across SecondDesk. What I found was a collective of enthusiastic creatives: freelancers, graphic designers, IT people, artists and more. Their energy was contagious. SecondDesk is a community. What really speaks to them is that I still felt comfortable there, although I did not immediately fit into the picture (in terms of job, interests, hipness, etc.). Obed is the manager and is very engaging and thoughtful. He makes great efforts to make everyone happy. If you are unsure, you can undoubtedly ask to sniff the atmosphere for a day. I would recommend everyone to consider this workplace.
I loved every aspect of my stay here. Super friendly and helpful service. The Hostess is so polite and truly welcomes you to Antwerp and she has knowledge of all the local spots to hang around . The apartment is clean and big and the location is just near to city centre...
I would recommend to anyone who like a calm neighbourhood and also access the city in 5 mins walk..
It was a lovely stay and I wish I could add more stars to it.
A brand new hub, buzzing even in those difficult times. We have an office there (startups.be | scale-ups.eu) and we're very happy of the amenities and the staff.
