I came in on no notice due to an unplanned power outage at my house, and Faith and Tony were able to accomodate me. They were super helpful and the space had everything I need to get my work done and make my lunch. I would definitely recommend this place and will use them for any of my future co-working space needs.
As one of the first members of Connect back in 2017, I was impressed with the vision Bernie had for it as a co-working & meeting space.
I was so impressed, that I jumped at the opportunity to follow in his footsteps as the "Macro Manager" at Connect.
Connect is more than a flexible workplace, it is a welcoming opportunity to establish & curate of collaborative community of business professionals.
Thank you to that community for being so supportive & helping Connect continue to strive to accomplish the vision put in place by my predecessors.
Definitely my favorite place in Saint Pete. The atmosphere there is cozy and neat, kratom is potent and delicious, tastes like mother Earth tho so be ready to just sip it up. People who work there are fantastic and lovely and will always provide you with the best service. I recommend it to literally everyone, just go there and throw money at a bartender, that's how awesome this place is :^)

Though tucked away, once you locate it, it's a breeze to get to and has numerous restaurants and services in close proximity.
There is ample parking, and a friendly receptionist to greet you inside.
If you have to wait for someone, there's a lovely main waiting area with comfy armchairs, wifi, a bulletin board, large screen tv and pub tables/chairs, as well as free refreshments (lemon water, coffee, teas, treats).
Not only that, but they have an art showcase (changes quarterly) on the walls around the entire 1st floor, and I've seen fliers for frequent (tenant) gatherings/ parties. Has a real 'community' vibe.
As for their business services, I've not used any but have thought that if I lived nearby and had a small biz, I'd surely consider them.
Set and Setting- Located right in the heart of a district known for both business and creativity this coffee shop caters to both. As far as space crafting goes this place has it down. The size and spacing of the work tables is perfect for anything from a meeting to sitting down with a book. You can choose from a private room, large and small community tables (indoor and out), quiet desks or couches with coffee tables. Should also mention the design and decor of all of these nooks are pleasing and modern.
The Food and Drink- They have a unique and well curated selection of local teas and pastries as well as delicious coffee. It's all presented well.
The Service - always pleasant, always helpful, knowledgeable, presentable.
The only two bits of criticism I have for this business is that it is still using plastic cups even for drinks being drank in house. Disappointed a modern and forward thinking place like this hasn't replaced more of their SINGLE USE items. Also have to point out that they don't have an option to recycle.
Secondly they keep the place so cold I've had to remember to pack a sweatshirt and usually have to leave before I'd like to to warm up my feet. Easy fixes though! I'll continue to bring my own cup, socks and sweater for now to enjoy everything Station House has to offer!
Matt Fenske from SVN Commercial did a remarkable job as our realtor. Matt Fenske helped us focus in on what we were ultimately going to rent. He was extremely patient with us and very knowledgeable on the local market.
I love this place! It's an old, refurbished firehouse, brought into the 21st century as a co-working and meeting space. They put on weekly, sometimes semi-weekly events, usually free; and annual events that span over days, some are free, others are paid (but reasonably priced for what you get out of it). Then there's the people, a smarter bunch you've not met on the Suncoast, aside from maybe a BarCamp Sarasota-Manatee event, with whom you'll notice a good amount of overlap.
Great little co-working space tucked away on Central Ave. The space has everything you need to drop in and work. I've been a daily attendee for a few months now and the owners are very responsive and helpful.
Location is great as well, coffee shops close by and places to eat and drink just moments away.
Definitely check this place out if you are looking for space, I've worked at other co-working spaces around town and this is one I would pick over others.
Stanley Dean has a fantastic office staff. Zach and Sam are very courteous and knowledgeable. I stopped in their office to inquiry about purchasing a homeowner's and auto insurance policy. And within a few minutes they were able to provide me with several competitive insurance quotes. They have certainly earned my business with their excellent customer service..
I love this space. I live downtown, so I enjoy that I can walk to the office and easily grab lunch with friends during the day. As someone who has a relatively isolating job, working at the lab has helped me meet cool people and have a more active social life.
I have been working at the Station House and The Arcade for several years now and absolutely LOVE not only the locations and the office spaces but the SH team! They are super friendly, upbeat, responsive, knowledgeable and fun! I highly recommend working here - either location - and look forward to my continued partnership with the SH Arcade!
